Basically you need to install Node and then Harp. From there, you can fork my integration that includes Bootstrap on Github. Node has a built in Less compiler so no need to worry about using less.js or a third party Less compiler. From the command line your Less files will be compiled with a simple
harp compile command. I’ve also included a base theme and color palette you can use as a starting place.
If you’ve read my book Mastering Bootstrap the structure of the theme will look very familiar to you. I’m actually working on an update to the book which will included detailed instructions on how to get a theme generator environment like this running on your own computer. Sign up for my newsletter to be notified when that is available.
